All rise in manchester
The highest residential tower in Europe
is to be built in Manchester on a site next
to the Piccadilly station. Construction of
the building, which will be 58 storeys
high with two lower buildings beside it,
will start in early 2008. Designed by
international architects Woods Bagot,
it will house 697 residential units and
a luxury hotel. There are high hopes
in Manchester that the Picadilly Tower
will become a new landmark for the
cosmopolitan city.

New law protects buyers in andalusia
The property market in Spain, especially in the very popular south, has received a lot of bad press recently, with buyers losing out and suffering through lack of legal protection. If you’re buying in Andalusia, however, there’s some good news. A new decree passed by the region has improved transparancy and client protection on the Andalusian property market.
