Sterling opens new Airport Sales Offices in hubs
If you’ve been flying from Stockholm Arlanda, Oslo or Malmo airports recently you may have noticed that Sterling has opened ticket sales offices in the Departures areas. This will make it easier for you to change tickets, book holidays while you wait for flights and it also gives you face to face contact with our sales staff onsite. More offices are due to open this year, including Aalborg in July, plus London Gatwick, Bergen, Gothenburg and Billund later in the season. Tanya Jonsson, in charge of the new openings, commented: “Sterling wants to provide the best possible service to our passengers, and that’s why we decided to open our own offices in several airports. Our bright red ticket offices are certainly easy to spot.”

Ciao, or shall we say bom dia! In honour of two new route launches – to Lisbon from Copenhagen and to Milan from Stockholm coming this winter, we’ve composed a little quiz, below (answers at the bottom of this page). In addition to these new routes, we are also increasing the number of flights between Aalborg and Copenhagen to five times daily including a noon departure, plus increasing flights between London Gatwick and Copenhagen to four daily departures with a new early morning departure from Gatwick at 6.55am. And there’s more…. Billund to Salzburg is due to launch soon.
Test your local knowledge here…
1. In Lisbon, what would you expect to find in a pastéis de nata?
2. To what did the writer DH Lawrence liken the spiky, gothic form of Milan cathedral?
3. In which stadium can you watch Milan’s European cup-winning football team?
4. What do you say if you want to order a beer in Lisbon?
5. On which Milan street can you find designer shops such as Gucci, Versace, Louis Vuitton and Prada?
